I absolutely adore banana cream pie! I mean who doesn’t really? I love how sweet and creamy and full of great banana flavor it has. I really love the piles of fresh whipped cream on the top. It’s whipped cream! What’s not to love?
This Banana Cream Pie Lush is so simple to make. It tastes great and it looks beautiful! The only danger is that you may not want to share it, but keep it all for yourself! You are going to love each and every layer this Lush has. Graham cracker crust, cream cheese, bananas, banana pudding, and last but not least a Cool Whip topping!

This recipe makes an 8 x 8 pan. You can double it to make a 9 x 13. In the name of full disclosure, the photos here are after the Banana Cream Pie Lush was frozen to make it easier to slice into squares. If you just refrigerate it you serve it in more of a scoop than a slice. I wanted to make sure that I had a pretty picture for you.
Banana Cream Pie Lush Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pckgs graham crackers for the crust
- 1/2 stick butter melted for the crust
- 1 8 oz package of cream cheese for the cream cheese laye
- 1 cup sugar for the cream cheese laye
- 1 tbsp vanilla for the cream cheese laye
- 1-2 bananas sliced
- 1 4 oz pckg instant banana pudding
- 1 8 oz tub cool whip thawed
Instructions
- Make the Pudding according to directions let chill for 2-3 hours to really set up
- preheat oven to 350
- grease an 8×8 baking dish
- in a food processor pulse the graham crackers to crumbs
- mix in the 1/2 cup of melted butter once all crumbs are moist
- Press into the bottom of the greased dish
- bake for 20 min
- set aside and let cool
- mix the cream cheese and sugar and vanilla
- spread on the cooled crust
- layer the sliced banana
- spread on the pudding
- then spread on the cool whip
- place in the freezer if you want to make slices for 3 hours
- or in the fridge overnight if you are ok with scooping
