It is officially appetizer and dip season! NFL playoffs are happening, and we are only a few weeks away from the Big Ticket event. Each Sunday is made for finger food and amazing tasting dips! Kansas City BBQ Brisket Dip has a big, bold, and meaty flavor for your most discerning football food fan!
This dip is made from the inspiration of our new home Kansas City, MO. Known for beef, BBQ and brisket is the meat of choice here. Now, most of you know I am from Memphis, and we view our BBQ just a little bit differently. But in the spirit of acceptance, I created a dip for the home team Kansas City Chiefs.
Kansas City BBQ Brisket Dip is loaded on meat, BBQ sauce, and beans. This dip is perfect for any party for any team. Your guests are going to go crazy for this!
The main ingredient in this recipe is brisket meat. Luckily you don’t have to worry about slow braising a big meat slab all day to make this. You can take a sweet shortcut. In the deli section, you can find brisket meat already cooked and in BBQ sauce. So simple, easy, and yet tastes amazing! You can choose from sweet and tangy to deep and Smokey. I chose sweet and tangy for this recipe. [Lloyds and Jack Daniels both make ready to eat brisket]
Use your favorite BBQ sauce in this recipe. I used my all time favorite sauce, and I am running low on it, from home. The Germantown Commissary makes the best bbq sauce and pulled pork you will ever eat! Now unless you live in the Mid South or are traveling through, you will have to use your local favorite.
I haven’t been home in 7 years and I am on my last bottle……. ROAD TRIP!

The secret for the true depth of flavor in this recipe is caramelized red onion. When slow-cooked in butter, the sweetness of the red onion gives into a deep smoky, and slightly sweet flavor. Paired with the meat and bbq sauce, the onions seal the deal on the great flavor of this dip.
No matter the team you are rooting for, Kansas City BBQ Brisket Dip will be sure to score a touchdown at your next party!
