When Steve told me that I don’t make enough dips, I was like, Hello, do you live here? I make dips all the time. The blog is full of great Dip Recipes! Then I started thinking about it. He is out of town with work, and by the time he gets home on the weekends, we have pretty much demolished all the food! So since he was feeling left out, I decided to make a really good manly dip for him! Philly Cheesesteak Dip is easy to whip up and tastes just like the original sandwich!

Philly Cheesesteak Dip Recipe
I served this with both chips and little slices of baguette bread. The bread makes it taste like a sandwich. Just cut the steak up into little pieces and saute with onion and green pepper. So good!
I can tell you that Steve was really happy with this dip. So happy; in fact, he wants to know when I will make another manly dip for him! Guess I better get back in the kitchen! Until then, go ahead and make the Philly Cheesesteak Dip.

Ingredients
- 1 8oz package of cream cheese softened
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 red onion diced small
- 1/2 green pepper diced small
- 1- 1/2 lb skirt steak {also called hanger, or flat iron} cut into 1/2″ pieces
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- preheat oven to 350
- dice your onions and green peppers
- salt and pepper and then cut your steak up
- in a skillet, over high heat, brown the steak, remove and set aside
- in the same skillet, saute the onion and green pepper until soft
- in a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until spreadable
- add the mayonnaise and combine
- fold in the onions, peppers, and steak
- place in an oven-safe baking dish
- bake for 20-25 min
- serve with chips and baguette bread
